For lovers of nature-filled walks, the itinerary connecting Jesolo to Eraclea Mare is an unmissable discovery. This 35-kilometre route, which can be completed in about one hour and forty minutes, leads you to explore what is known as the “green pearl of the Adriatic,” celebrated for its extraordinary natural richness.
The route to follow
Starting from Lido di Jesolo, the path winds through varied landscapes until reaching the Ponte di Cortellazzo, a panoramic viewpoint offering evocative views over the mouth of the Piave River. From here, you can choose whether to continue directly toward Eraclea Mare or take a detour to the spectacular Laguna del Mort, a protected natural area formed after a change in the river’s course.
Laguna del Mort
Laguna del Mort is one of the true natural gems of this walk: a unique ecosystem where fresh and salt water meet, creating an ideal habitat for numerous species of water birds and rare plants. More adventurous visitors can explore the Pineta del Mort by following a well-trodden path that winds through centuries-old maritime pines and Mediterranean scrub. The resin-scented air and aromatic undergrowth make this detour a fully immersive sensory experience.
